Daphne Denley

Daphne Denley, born and living in Stroud, a creative and multicultural hub, for like minded expressive artistic talents, at the heart of the Cotswolds.

Middle aged, family lady, proud mother to her daughter Felicity and wife to her husband Ben.

Day job is working in technical engineering sales, for a global manufacturer.

In spare time enjoys singing and performing as lead singer of her local covers band, writing poetry and songs, painting and swimming. Always up for a new challenge and recently tried stand up comedy.

Daphne writes as a way to express her feelings and thoughts. This was parilticularly crucial and cathartic, at the time when her husband was battling cancer.

So one of her biggest achievements was having her first book of poetry 'Moments' published.

This book has been so gratefully received, with fantastic feedback from readers.

She could not have ever imagined how much her experiences and writing has been a comfort to others, inspiring her to write more.
