Jim Blase is a 40-year experienced estate planning attorney practicing law in St. Louis, Missouri. He is the author of five books tracing the train travels of Theodore Roosevelt throughout the United States. All five books are intended as a tribute to the centennial anniversary of President Roosevelt’s passing, on January 6, 1919. In 2020 Mr. Blase also edited and re-released The Ideals of Theodore Roosevelt, by Edward H. Cotton, which book was originally published by the Curtis Publishing Company in 1922.
Mr. Blase first grew interested in studying the life of Theodore Roosevelt when, as a college freshman, he researched and wrote a term paper titled “The Education of Theodore Roosevelt.” He later lived nearby President Roosevelt’s boyhood home while attending the New York University Graduate Program in Taxation.
