Melisa Pearce is the founder of Touched By A Horse® and creator of the Equine

Gestalt Coaching Method®. Melisa’s passion and life’s work is to be a healer, mentor, and teacher. As a psychotherapist and lifelong horsewoman, she created her original and innovative method of partnering with horses to provide emotional healing for humans. To expand the reach of her Work, she has created 3 Certification programs to train others in her work.

Melisa has bred, shown, and raised horses for over 40 years, giving her a deep understanding of their natures. She won two World Championship American Paint Horse Association awards. A lifelong horsewoman, she was selected as one of the Top 50 Influential Horsewomen in the U.S. As an author of several books, she has shared her expertise in Gestalt and horses. Melisa continues to lecture nationally at major equine events such as the Midwest Horse Fair, Equine Affaire, and Equine Extravaganza.
