For many years I had a career in advertising that allowed me to travel the world and surround myself with the beauty of people, places, and things that I never dreamed existed.

After leaving the world of advertising, my wanderlust grew and I travelled even more. Only this time, I was carefully choosing my destinations and traveling for the pure joy of exploring the wonders of this magnificent planet that we all share. Each trip expanded my sense of what was possible. And the more I travelled, the more I reexamined my own purpose and place in the world.

My travels were as much about exploring my own inner emotional landscape as they were about exploring the world around me. So, I soon found myself gravitating toward my love of art and writing.

That's because everything that I create is based on my experiences and the varied, complex and fluid emotional states that they engender. States that don't lend themselves to the rigid structure and techniques and writing and representational art.

I have reconnected with my love of stories, textures, and color and I have found myself processing my journeys through the act of sharing my art and writing with others.
