Jeanette Sklivanou

Jeanette Sklivanou was born in Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK on the 31st October 1973. She is half British, from her mother's side and half Greek from her father's side and is proud to be both British and Greek. She speaks fluent Greek and English. She lived in the UK until the age of 7 and then moved to Greece to permanently reside there and finish highschool and attend college. She studied interior design and art. She was an interior designer from the years 1994 to 1999, where she then became a mother to her first daughter, Valerie and decided to become a stay at home mum and work part time. She then opened her own construction company in 2004, where she designed apartment buildings, built and sold them. She became a mother to her second daughter, Georgette in 2005. She then opened her second company, Kids Spa Parties in 2010 which created Spa events for children birthday parties. Later on in her career she launched Safe N Beautiful in 2012 until present in which she creates safe, harmless, non-toxic products for children all around the world. Her company Safe N Beautiful has been awarded the Gold award for Best Newly Established Export company in 2014 and 2015, Gold award Top Branded Export Product in 2016, Gold award for Top Innovation Exports in 2019, Gold award for Top Exporting Packaging in 2019, Silver award for Top Branded Export Product in 2019 in the Greek Export Awards and Best Vegan Hand/Nail Product in 2020 by Global Green Beauty. She has donated to many causes, raised money for Support Cambridge University for breast cancer, EAC Network - Child abuse prevention, is a part of PETA and many other organisations. Her company Safe N Beautiful has been awarded for best newly opened business in 2014-2015 and best exported Greek product in 2016. She was also featured in "Fortune" amongst 40 most successful Greek entrepreneurs under 40. Jeanette Sklivanou states "My biggest passion is my children. They always have been. I dedicated my earlier years to raising them and didn't work full time so I could be a full time mum. My 3rd child has been Snails since 2011. Now that my children are older I can enjoy both spending time with them but also expanding my business. However, Family always comes first."
