J.G. Velez II

J. G. Velez II’s journey as a storyteller began in high school, where he penned plays and short stories inspired by a beloved novella he once shared with his mother and his fascination with 18th-century history.

Over the years, his imagination was further ignited by the legendary worlds of The Elder Scrolls, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars. Yearning to craft a realm of his own—and inspired by the origin stories of the great creators before him—Velez set out to weave A Story of Gylranor, an epic fantasy saga teeming with rich lore, deep mysteries, and a world both perilous and wondrous.

He gratefully credits the steadfast support of his family, friends, and girlfriend for giving him the strength to bring this tale to life.
