I have loved writing since the third grade, when I vividly recall having to write a five-sentence story. Mine was read aloud by the teacher, and the entire class was hysterical. Immediately, even at such a young age, I felt the power of the written word. Opening a blank page and painting the white with words is magical.

I read anything and everything...and I truly believe one should write what he/she knows.

My new book "Light is After Winter" centers on a man who faces the unthinkable on a cold, ordinary November morning. From this point on, he deals with his grief in ways that have a snowball effect on his life. He walks away - from his reality, his everything, his greatest responsibility. Along the way, he meets some ghosts. One regret, above all, haunts him. Only when he begins to chase his nostalgic past does hope begin to shine in the distance.

My first book, "Parallels and Facades," revolves around the following theme: "Death affects us throughout life in countless forms." The book is comprised of "slices of life," both in poetic form and prose.

I sincerely hope my words allow you to ponder life... appreciate life... and know you are not alone.

Thank you for the support.

Never stop reading.
