Tori Kendrick

Tori Kendrick is the founder of Empowered Kids Books LLC. She studied Sociology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned an M.A. in Urban Education Policy from Brown University. Tori’s background in education and social sciences, combined with her experience as the mother of a young son on the autism spectrum, inspired her journey as an author and the creation of Empowered Kids Books LLC.

The company is dedicated to empowering children through stories that celebrate neurodivergent characters, providing positive representation and fostering a love of reading. Tori’s vision is to create a vibrant children’s book series where all children can see themselves reflected in stories that inspire confidence, belonging, and joy.
