Randle J. Record

Growing up in a small town in Kentucky set the stage for me to be a southern boy who loved to boat, camp, fish, and hunt. No doubt that my mom's witness and her consistent taking me to church brought me to the point where Jesus changed my life and future. After college at Union University in Jackson, TN, and marrying my wife, Susan, we moved to Louisville, KY. There, I completed my Master of Divinity degree while working in the church. Over 40 years of church work, from youth pastor to senior pastor, plus ten years of work with a Sheriff's Office as a deputy and acting lieutenant, paved the road for this book. I was granted many opportunities to deal with people, and the results of pornography and thought-life issues were plain to see. Viewing real stories of the destruction of this “drug” and seeing the need to help people “FIX” this from a deeper level is biological and spiritual. While writing this book to help tackle this massive issue, I still consider raising five kids with my wife one of my greatest passions.

Currently, Randle J. Record leads The National Center for Thought Life, helping families, churches, and schools navigate today's screen-trauma culture.
