Katelyn Posego

Katelyn Posego is the author of Hastie Hen Farm's Living Simply. She grew up at the base of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado and spent her childhood involved in horses, cattle, and rodeos. Before her 18th birthday she left home to serve in the United States Navy. A decision that completely shaped her life. Katelyn and her family reside on Whidbey Island in the picturesque Pacific Northwest. Their property, Hastie Hen Farm, was the concept for their family’s intimate, self-reliant journey. Now it has become so much more.

This lifestyle, ‘homesteading’ as it is often called, has brought her family so much purpose and joy. It is this purpose and joy that inspires her to share experiences and help those who want to pursue a similar lifestyle, a simpler lifestyle.
