Glen Smith

Glen Smith is a teacher, author, and recovering partisan. During his time as a professor of American politics at the University of North Georgia, Glen has taught thousands students how to discuss politics in a civil, productive, and friendly manner. Glen uses his personal experiences as a former Democrat, Republican, conspiracy theorist, and current nonpartisan, to help readers and students alike see politics from a new and altogether more enlightened perspective. While his book Disagreeing Agreeably is intended for students in introductory college courses, Friendly Politics was written as a self-help guide for anyone seeking to lower the temperature of partisan divisions in their lives, relationships, and country. Glen spends his free time reading, walking, helping stray cats, laughing with his wife and playing with his son.
