Sonali Raje

Sonali Raje is a scientist and professor of chemistry education at Towson University, Maryland. A passionate bibliophile, when she is not working or spending time with her family and friends, she volunteers her time at a geriatric center in a local hospital.

She has been deeply interested in the varying rich and complex facets of The Mahabharat from an early age. Having worked as a scientist and educator all her life, she had no plans of exploring creative writing, ever. However, serendipity struck in 2017 when she stepped outside her comfort zone and took up creative writing as a side-gig. The Empress of Indraprastha series is her debut in the field of literature.
