Miranda Storm

Miranda Storm is a pen name for a collaboration of authors. Lead writer and editor Kai Knight has over 15 years' experience in writing adventure and crime novels for teenage readers. Dynamic protagonists are Kai's favorites. Kai read Greek mythology from a young age and quickly developed a love for heroic and epic tales. She graduated summa cum laude with an MA in English literary studies from Durham University. Her studies included classical literature as well as unusual topics such as Latin and Old Norse. Aside from her academic achievements, Kai has a black belt in Kung Fu and likes to scuba dive, drive motorbikes and horse ride.

Kai's sister and co-author, Skyrah Archer, is an award-winning actress known for the fantasy short film "Feel Flows". An accomplished swimmer and scuba diver, Skyrah served as inspiration for protagonist Naya DeLora. Her studies at East15 acting school provided her with in depth knowledge about character development and story telling. She has been writing for over 10 years and aside from being an author she loves yoga, dance and playing the piano.

On the more anonymous side, co-author, Evan V. Francis, added comedic elements to dialogue and action in the novel while Ira Kiourti is the team's logician, philosopher, and stargazer who loves the sea and is on a quest for consistency and meaning. Co-author Nadia Whyte is both historian and writer and covered a lot of research for the novel.
