Dr. Min A. Rayfield

Dr. Min A. Rayfield is a devoted mother to her beautiful children. She is a loving wife and daughter. Family comes first for her. She currently resides in Nashville, TN but will be on the constant move as she comes from a military family. Being in a military family allows exposure to so much diversity. Growing up as a Korean-American, Dr. Rayfield did not have access to books where the characters had her similar features. She wanted to ensure differences in appearance was not a concern for her children, as it was for her growing up. Dr. Rayfield’s daughter inspired her to write her first children’s book. Her daughter’s innocence and the way she views the colorful world around her gave Dr. Rayfield the idea to create a colorful book. “I am Beautiful, You are Beautiful, We are All Beautiful” walks you through the world through the lens of a child. A child that sees beauty and love in all things presented to her. Dr. Rayfield hopes to capture the smiles and purity of her readers. Writing this book is for children to know they are beautiful no matter where they come from or what they look like. She wishes for families to enjoy reading her book together to embrace all beauty and differences.
