Cathy Quintilla

Cathy Quintilla lives in an old Victorian cottage on the outskirts of Bath with her three loyal friends: Onyx, a black cat; Albion, a white cat; and Bonnie Charlie, a black Scottish terrier.

When Cathy wanders through the Assembly Rooms or the Crescent in Bath, she feels she has pierced the thin veil of time and has succeeded in walking back into Jane Austen's exhilarating Regency era. Her favourite city in the UK is Edinburgh, to where she travels frequently. To her, Edinburgh is Gothic, ominous and fantastic: the perfect setting for murder mysteries and horror novels. As for ghosts, there are of course some who believe in them and some who don't, but she is quite sure they roam the streets of Edinburgh on moonless winter nights.
