Steven E Roberts

Steven Roberts, self-avowed Shakespeare freak, is on what he calls a Grand Adventure-starting is own company at 72. Being a company owner is completely foreign to his professional life — a successful career in public service and politics which included elected office. He is also and award-winning college professor who teaches part time for local colleges. Roberts holds a Ph. D in Political Science, a Master of Pubic Administration, and a BA in English Literature.

A published author of four collections of short stories and a volume of poetry, Steve’s first children’s book, Baking Is Messy and So Is Life, was published in June, 2022. He currently is working a memoir recounting the eight years he was his parents’ live-in caregiver.

He has two grown children and six grandchildren. Along with his two rescue dogs, Daphne and Thelma, Steve lives in Knoxville, Tennessee in the same house where he grew up.
