Kurt Geisinger moved to New Jersey at the age of six and still resides there today. He attended William Paterson University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business management. After college, he worked with the New York County District Attorney’s Office as a computer specialist.
In 1996, Geisinger was hired by a New Jersey police department, and after graduating from the police academy, his career as a police officer was born. Throughout his twenty-one-year career, he had the opportunity to work in the patrol division, the traffic bureau, the motorcycle squad, and as an instructor for his department and the police academy. He dealt with thousands of police calls, ranging from the mundane to the unthinkable. The most interesting and unusual calls are compiled in this book.
Now retired, Geisinger enjoys spending time with his family, writing, reading, and riding his motorcycle. He is humbled to have served his community and enjoyed the privilege of making this world a better place.
