My latest book "The Future of Competitive Strategy: Unleashing the Power of Data and Digital Ecosystems" (MIT Press 2022) lays out a vision for legacy firms (or firms who built their legacies before the arrival of the internet) to effectively compete in the modern digital world by harnessing their value chain infrastructures and product footprints to build vibrant digital ecosystems that can expand the scope of their businesses and generate new revenue streams.
