PUFFINS: Life on the Atlantic Edge is the product of many years of sitting on remote cliffs across the British Isles. Usually windswept, frequently soaked, and, believe it or not, a little sunburned at times. But my desire to share the beauty and plight of these charismatic birds, as well as my passion for photographing them, has never wavered. My hope is that this book will highlight not only the beauty and charm of puffins, but also their current plight. Working with these charismatic birds has become more than just a photographic project for me, and after years of recording and documenting their lives, my reputation has become entwined with them and their uncertain future.
