Mandy E. Lusk

Mandy E. Lusk, PhD, is a lifelong special educator who serves as an associate professor at Clayton State University in special education. Dr. Lusk earned her undergraduate degree in special education and master’s degree in students with behavior disorders from Mississippi State University. As a practitioner in special education for numerous years, Dr. Lusk predominantly taught students with emotional and behavioral disorders from all ages and various states across the country. She earned a doctorate focused on students with behavior disorders from the University of North Texas. She worked at Wichita State University and then started a special education certification program at Clayton State University. Dr. Lusk’s research agenda includes preparing teachers to effectively educate diverse learners with challenging behaviors.
