Mr Vafa Adib

My name is Vafa Adib. I was born and raised in Hamedan, Iran. Being close to mountains in the city of Hamedan, I started hiking at a young age, which was soon followed by taking photos with a Bell and Howell PocketStar EFT 110 camera that my parents bought me when I turned 10. At first, it was about “taking photos” but eventually, after years of experience, study and research, it became “making photos”. Mountains have always been a source of power, strength, respect and magnificence to me. As a resident of Alberta (Canada) for the last 20 years, I had the opportunity to explore the Rocky Mountains and capture their beauty, grandeur, and mystery. In publishing my first book, I hope to share my experience in the Rockies with those who have a passion for nature and photography.
