Nadine K. Thompson, is a teacher, writer, speaker, soul poet, writing doula, entrepreneur and traveler. She is originally from Jamaica. As a teacher she taught high school in Jamaica. She also spent 5 years living in Japan where she was part of the JET (Japan Exchange Teaching) program which allowed her to work in local
schools teaching English.
She completed her MA in Linguistics and TESOL in Cambridge, England. Presently, she is living in Hangzhou, China, and
continues to work as an ESL teacher.
Her first book is called "Encounters". It is an anthology of poems which covers encounters with places, feelings, spiritual light and love and loss.
She was a speaker at the International Women's Day Summit put on by Kimberly Crowe. Her talk was later transcribed into a chapter, and it is now part of the first "Voices of Women 2022" book, which is a best seller on Amazon.
Her other book collaborations include "The Cinderella Monologues" and "The Community Book 365 Days of Gratitude. "
