Thad S. Austin

Thad S. Austin is a service-oriented leader passionate about formational, mission-driven institutions, their leaders, and the resources that animate their purpose. A celebrated scholar and seasoned executive with 15+ years experience in nonprofit organizations, Thad is known for effective fundraising, strategic evaluation, creative problem solving, and building and managing agile, high-performing teams. He holds a Ph.D. in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and is an internationally recognized thought-leader on topics topics ranging from organizational leadership and innovation to fundraising, philanthropic history, and mission development. He is an ordained clergyperson with more than a decade of pastoral experience. Thad serves as Executive Director of the Common Table Collaborative and Vice President of the EveryAge Foundation.
