Danielle Ezell Brown

Danielle Brown began writing at age 8, and, by 12, had completed two collections of short stories, a screenplay, and several novels—a few of which she adapted for the Commodore 64 as text adventure games. In 2023, Brown created an AI adventure game based on her early stories: danielletx {comslash} CYOA.

With a computer science and English degree and a Master’s in religion and philosophy, Brown’s career has spanned everything from teaching elementary school art and municipal planning to technology CEO, philanthropy, and law.

Previous books include a collaboration with Matt Forderer: “Diasnu: A Conversation of Unspoken,” “An Inescapable Inevitable: New & Selected Poems,” and “The Girl Who Invented Sin,” which features Brown’s original art and is structured as a triptych, based on Bosch’s The Garden of Earthly Delights.

Last year, she launched an AI poetry editor to help writers refine, sharpen, and improve their work: danielletx {comslash} theWOPE. In 2025, she will release her first book-length poem: “The Unillustrated Book of Seasons.”
