Kathy Kalmar was born in Detroit, Michigan. She has been married over 40 years. She writes contemporary romance and reads widely. She loves writing in her Writing Room aka Lewd Room in the Great Smoky Mountains where she has a round house. When she's not going in circles she is writing her next book usually set in Hawaii, Great Smoky Mountains or Cape Cod. She favors mai tais, moonshine and Cranberry wine.
