Mark Rea

Mark Rea is Managing Editor Emeritus of Columbus Sports Publications, a Columbus, Ohio-based firm that publishes sports-related fan newspapers including Buckeye Sports Bulletin and manages the internet website BuckeyeSports.com.

For more than forty years, Rea has been a writer, journalist, editor and columnist at newspapers and magazines for such companies as Scripps-Howard and McGraw-Hill.

Throughout the course of his career, Rea has won a variety of writing awards, including several national first-place honors from McGraw-Hill in 2002 and 2003, as well as national awards for feature writing and for column writing from the Football Writers Association of America.

In 2009, he authored the book “The Die-Hard Fan’s Guide To Buckeye Football,” and followed in 2014 with “The Legends: Ohio State Buckeyes – The Men, The Deeds, The Consequences.” In 2022, he published "The Legends: Volume 2."

Rea has residences in Washington Court House, Ohio, and Marco Island, Florida.
