Cheryl Byfield was born and raised in the quiet community of Ewarton in St. Catherine, Jamaica. Cheryl considers her faith in God, and her family the paramount influences in her life.
Cheryl pursued her passion for Architecture at the University of Technology, Jamaica.
Burdened down with the weight of lack of monetary resources, Cheryl became fascinated with the power of money, and its influence on society, in particular the poor. After several discussions with her friends on the topic, some of whom were in the same position as Cheryl, she dug deeper into the topic of money and its influence on her life. She never settled for the adage “it’s the way of the world”
Money Hoax is her first published work. This book explores the belief that money is controlled by a minority population who use their monetary power to manipulate the marginalized population. Such manipulation is a deliberate attempt to keep the poor dependent on the rich.
While Money Hoax specifically explores Jamaica’s economic environment, its ideas and applications are worldwide. Cheryl strongly believes that there is enough God-given resource to support every person on the planet.
When she isn’t writing or designing, Cheryl may be found spending quiet time with her family.
