John J. Capellaro

John Capellaro, an ordained Episcopal priest, retired from ministry after having served three parishes in the United States. He and his wife retired to Tulum Mexico following the election of Donald Trump. He writes short essays which can be found on his blog, SoulShorts.com. He is currently working on a book of fiction addressing the spiritual richness of memory. He no longer identifies as Christian given the diseased and dishonest versions of that religion that dominate the globe but rather remains intrigued by various figures of history, including Jesus of Nazareth (not Bethlehem!) who have been motivated by the effects of love, forgiveness, hope and a radical openness to the vastness of what we do not yet understand.
