KAD

KAD is an award-winning poet and self-published author from Muskogee, Oklahoma writing in gothic literature. In February 2026, she published her poetry chapbook "Nature, She Wrote" at Bottlecap Press. Her poem "Fear" was published in the debut winter issue at 'The Hillsather Press' in January. Poems, “Ol’ Soft Shoes” and "Lonely, Yet Not Alone" are featured at the ‘Dark Poets Club’ website where the latter received an Honorable Mention in the 'Small Space, Deep Impact' poetry contest (2025). Her poem "Why, Oh Why?" won third place in the 'Dream Quest One Poetry Contest' for Summer 2024.
