Richard Nathan was born in Washington D.C. In 1968, he moved to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California where he worked with people like John Ritter and Laura Ziskin. He appeared as an actor in the horror film "The Meateater" (also known as "Phantom of the Theatre") which is regarded by many people as one of the very worst films ever made. Unable to make a living as an actor, he became an attorney specializing in entertainment law. He is now semi-retired and is working on self publishing many plays he has written over the years.
