Cathy Xinman

Cathy Xinman is a bilingual poet, writer, and screenwriter for film and stage, and one of the founders of a North American literary publishing organization. She has received an International Film Festival Gold Award and the Remi Award twice. She has co-authored interdisciplinary research papers on literary therapy and empowerment published in authoritative academic journals; her research findings have been cited internationally, forming a theoretical closed loop with her poetic practice.

Her work is indexed by the internationally recognized media database Muck Rack, demonstrating the visibility and recognizability of her writing within the English-language public discourse system. She is the author of the English poetry collection” Where You Love Yourself”, the Chinese poetry collection “Flowers Kiss the Sun”, the poetry craft book “Flowers Kiss the Volcano” and the screenplay “Stay Alive,”, among others. Her work is dedicated to exploring the deep connections between literature, mental health, and social care.

Cathy Xinman is immersed in ink rhythm and agarwood and warms the years. Her works have been published since the late 1980s. As the founder of a multinational cultural and literary society, she continues to serve as a volunteer in many cultural communities. Known as a bilingual poet, most of her literary works take love as the eternal theme. She’s the honorary consultant of NZ Sinology and Poetry Society and the consultant of CCTV Global Aihua Poetry Spring Festival Gala of New Zealand. She’s also the Editor-in-Chief of North America Huadian Artists Forum.

She is also one whose poems are widely adopted by the media. Currently living in North America.
