Lucy Reed

Welcome to my page. My name is Lucy Reed; I write children's books out of a deep desire to minister to little ones and their families. My talented illustrator, Megan Duff, and I prayerfully collaborated on the first in our four-book series titled Gypsy and The Summer Storm. This book offers a sweet invitation to put our trust in God. We want to give children life tools through memorable stories to help them navigate challenging situations in life. I taught bible school, seminars at youth camps, and homeschooled my children; these experiences helped define my vision. I want to offer children hope in an entertaining way. My husband David and I raised our children on a farm in Michigan and currently live on the East end of Long Island. We love spending time with our family, friends and take every opportunity to travel. I also enjoy consulting on interior design. We look forward to providing you with more beautiful, quality reads in the near future.
