Dorian Pope

DORIAN POPE is as elusive as his tricks are illusionary. All we know is he was born somewhere in England, probably in the North. Probably to working-class parents and he probably went to a very average school where he felt like fitting in was the only way to reach the top. Though he always knew the ceiling was made of glass and he'd have to think outside the box to get there!

Some say he suffered from tremendous stage fright from a young age: a counter-productive trait for someone with a yearning desire to perform and bring light and intrigue to the world. Those that claim to know him say he has big hands but short "stubby" fingers. A problem for any budding card magician. However, being a man of grit and determination, he wasn't going to let any Jack stand in his way on his journey through the suits.

Pope is a diamond in the rough, a man with a heart as big as the ocean. He's a regular at all the clubs, a joker to his friends and it's believed his favorite tool for digging holes is a spade. Alas, winters are harsh in the North and sandcastles could never withstand the wind. So indoor sports it was and card magic absorbed his soul.
