A writer since birth, I didn't ever expect to be a published author. Surprise surprise. I met other word obsessed women and we formed a writers' group. One story led to another. We were encouraged by mentors to write a collaborative memoir of our group with tips on how to create and maintain support for each other's writing. The project was started then abandoned and restarted years later and here we are with a book that tells our story sprinkled with essay, memoir, short fiction and poems to illustrate lessons we learned along the way. I currently write a blog called Wonkagranny - a grandmother's perception of the universe through poetry, stories, and life observations. Please join me there.
