As a person with dyslexia, M. Mott believes children who have difficulty with non-controlled text deserve high-quality, decodable chapter books- especially with charming full-color illustrations!
M. Mott holds a Master of Education degree in Special Education and currently teaches students with reading disabilities. Mott is trained in the major research-based reading programs: Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Reading System, and Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing program.
Mott began writing stories for her students, who were in search of engaging texts at their level.
