The mythological narratives and associated anecdotes in the form of stories ( some could fall in apocryphal category) , add to it the recital of Ramayan and Bhagwat Gita by the elders in the family and neighbourhood, in childhood created a deep impression on the value and thought process of the author as a child.

After his graduation in Science and Engineering he had eventful career starting with as an Associate Professor at the Benaras Hindu University to public, private sectors, Governments and United Nations. By some reckoning the author feels he had fair share of material success. And then came turning point . The ailing of near and dear ones in the family . The associated physical and mental afflictions and the helplessness stirred the nest the author had nourished from the childhood stories. In 1988 the nest had the first

Fertile egg in the form of a question - why affliction ? The quest for cause and cure continues till today . The book , “ Quantum Yoga and mystery of meditation “ is a product of that quest .

Hope it will help the reader to understand the Self more deeply and find the way to avoid , mitigate and cure all that cause affliction.

With sound body and mind one can make a better success in material as well as spiritual world.
