Carrie Strong

Carrie Strong is an experienced homeschooling mom of four children. She spent two years after college in the Dominican Republic teaching French, music, art, and Bible during her first year and second-grade during her second year. After returning to the states, she taught K-12 Spanish at an academy in Kalamazoo, Michigan before getting married and having kids of her own. She and her family now reside in northern Michigan where she enjoys homeschooling, writing books, blogging, being outdoors, singing, and hobby farming. Carrie has a passion for helping other prospective homeschooling parents gain the confidence and encouragement needed to begin or sustain their homeschooling journey. Her book You Can Homeschool is an easy-to-read summary of all the things she wished she had known before beginning her homeschooling experience and contains real-life stories that allow you to step into the world of other experienced homeschooling moms. Carrie also loves Jesus and nature and uncovering what messages God might be speaking through His creation.
