Kate Dashwood

Kate Dashwood has been writing all her life. Her first literary crush was Sherlock Holmes, and second—Mr Darcy. She worked as an English teacher and translator until she ended up on the career ladder in a big corporation in London, Paris, and Toulouse. Kate’s currently living with her French boyfriend and their rescue dog, Jikou, in the south of France, where she’s taken up new hobbies, including baking cakes and furniture renovation.

Kate is writing closed-door romantic comedies focused on love, friendship, and emotional growth. Her first novel, The Bali Adventure, and the prequel novella, The Paris Adventure, are available in online bookstores, and she’s already working on the next books in the Las Chicas series about four best friends—Lucy, Anna, Sylvia, and Mia—and their fun adventures.
