Benjamin A. Kolodziej

Benjamin Kolodziej holds degrees in organ performance, sacred music, and theology, and has written for The American Organist, The Diapason, Theatre Organ, Concordia Historical Institute Quarterly, Methodist History, The Chorister, and The Hymn, among other journals. He is a contributor to the Lutheran Service Book: Hymnal Companion and the Canterbury Dictionary of Hymnology. His organ music is published by CPH, Augsburg, and GIA. His book, Joyful Singing: A Story of Lutheran Sacred Music in Texas was published by Fortress Press in 2022. As a performing organist, he has played concerts throughout the USA, in Germany, Austria, England, Italy, Norway, and Switzerland. He is organist at Perkins Chapel, SMU, and Organist/Choirmaster at St John's Episcopal Church, both in Dallas.
