Zahra Heydari, LMFT has thirteen years of experience in mental health services as a therapist and coach. She specializes in couples counselling and coaching, crisis intervention, depression/anxiety and self-esteem issues. Zahra works within a holistic approach that includes addressing the whole person, body, mind and spirit. Zahra's methods of therapy include mindfulness-based therapy, inner child work, meditation, CBT, and DBT with a client centered solution-based focus on the diverse needs of the individual. She treats issues including acute crisis intervention, PTSD, trauma, personality disorders, domestic violence, grief and multi-cultural issues. She utilizes a private practice model of service and coaching for individuals, young adults, teens, couples, and families. Zahra provides therapy both in English and Farsi.
