Marsha Taylor

Marsha Taylor was born in Lexington, Kentucky, raised in Austin, Texas, and now resides in Houston, Texas. She is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and Dallas Theological Seminary, where she received her Master’s degree in Biblical and Theological Studies, and she is the founder of Fresh Surrender Ministries. She has written three Bible studies - Beyond Blessed (a study of Ephesians), Persevere (a study of Nehemiah) and A Heart After God (a character study of 7 Biblical women). In her teaching and writing, Marsha focuses on practical application, desiring to help others deepen their walk with Jesus Christ and better understand God’s love and forgiveness, offered freely to every one of us. She has been married for over 30 years to her husband, David and they have two daughters—Catherine (married to Will) and Caroline (married to Brennen). Recently, she has become "Honey" to one grandson and is expecting a granddaughter in the fall. Her hobbies include playing the piano, enjoying musical theater, traveling, and spending time with her family.
