Don Peavy Sr.

Don E. Peavy, Sr. formerly taught religious studies and critical thinking at the University of Phoenix, Dallas Campus. He also taught several courses over the Internet for several universities.

Before moving to Southern California, Dr. Peavy practiced law in Fort Worth, Texas, his hometown. He left the practice of law to enter the active ministry. He graduated from Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University and attained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin. Peavy has completed coursework for a PhD. From Claremont Graduate university in theology, ethics, and culture. Until recently, Dr. Peavy served as the pastor of McCarty Memorial Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Los Angeles, California.

Mr. Peavy has returned to his hometown of Fort Worth, Texas, where he is busy at work on several writing projects.

He is the author of several novels as well as a book on Christian ethics entitled, “What Must I Do?”: Bridging the Gap Between Being and Doing, which was published by Kendall/Hunt in 2006, aand just released the Third Edition of his popular book "Play It Where It Lies!" Winning at the Game of Life With the Rules of Golf.
