Emanuel Shorten Sr

I am Emanual Shorten Sr., author, loving, caring, and devoted father of six, three boys and three girls. Since elementary school I've had a vision and love for creative arts. I've enjoyed writing plays as well as acting the roles out. In high school I envisioned me writing major movie scripts. As a teenager I would become involved in smoking marijuana and selling drugs. I would later on be indicted by the federal government on Drug conspiracy charges and sentenced to 18yrs in prison, with no parole. While being absent from my children lives, I gravitated to writing children books out of the love for my kids and others as well. My intentions were for my youngest two children who were one & two to have something to take to school for show & tale as they aged and grew. An object of sentimental value. I was granted Clemency by the President of the United States In Jan.2025 and released from all bondage in Apirl 2025. After prison, blessings upon blessings I've claimed and received. Now I'm giving back to our communities/children, by writing books expressing and demonstrating unity and togetherness of all nationalities and ethnic backgrounds. My books are written with LOVE and ENJOYMENT for ALL children & adults.
