Phil Adamo

Phil Adamo is a former circus clown turned medieval history prof turned novelist—a professional background that engenders a love of irony.

He taught medieval history for two decades at Augsburg College, where he was named Minnesota Professor of the Year by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.

He has written both academic and popular books and articles about the Middle Ages, including THE MEDIEVALIST (2022), a satirical thriller.
