Becky Smeltzer-Lowe

Hi! I’m Becky Smeltzer-Lowe and the author of the Misfit series (Middle Grade). The first book, now out on Amazon, is Marigold and the Marvelous Misfits. The second book is Misfit Mayhem, the third is Grizzly Grittle, and soon to be out: Slimy Scumbuckets!! These books are based on a fictional group of bullied middle school kids who meet in a cavern and use “Right”, not “Might” to try to help victims of bullying. The members of the Misfits have been verbally and physically abused for things bullies might deem “defects”; however, each possesses a gift-a talent. Melding their gifts enables them to bring right to a world that can be oh, so wrong.

I am a retired middle school teacher, a wife, sister, mom, friend, and a grandma. I love being with my new husband, with family and friends, walking my two dogs, traveling the west in a RV, cooking, sailing, watching movies, and-of course-writing. I thank God every day for my life and health.
