Scott grew up in a small town as an intelligent precocious child, before moving to a slightly larger small town to live the life as an average adult with his beloved wife, Jessica.

Many things inspire the stories that he writes. He has traveled extensively throughout the years, having been to China, the United Kingdom, Norway and even Florida! He keeps an open mind for inspiration when it strikes and lets it come to him. His favorite authors are Terry Pratchett (discovered at a bookstore when his mother told him he could get a book) and David Eddings, who if memory serves him correctly, he randomly picked from a wire book holder at his small local library.

When not writing or feeling guilty for not writing, Scott enjoys reading fantasy and nonfiction, playing the stock market and the odd video game.

He is often found walking a small white dog, who enjoys barking at basically everything, and is looking forward to a special delivery in the future from the stork.
