Hi everyone, I'm J.J. and I'm both a writer and avid reader. I've loved to read since I first learned how at the young age of four years old. Ever since then, I always had books on my bookshelves, stories in my hand, and a very creative imagination. I started writing when I was twelve years old because I would daydream about different stories that I could never find in books. So, I did what any twelve-year-old would do: I started writing them. I would create full book plots, characters, and story-worlds. It's been a secret passion of mine for years, and it wasn't until I turned 20 that I decided to give it a go and actually write a book. My debut novel, To Ashes, is the first novel I ever wrote and I am so proud of it. This novel sparked my love of writing in a different way; it showed me that pursuing writing as a job is a real possibility for me.

Never let anything stop you from achieving your dreams. I achieved mine at 20 years old, and it has been such a blessing.
