Jennifer Rodriguez

Jennifer Rodriguez is a teacher and author. Jennifer is a Florida Native and has taught Pre-K-7th grade in Pasco County, Florida for 28 years. She lives in Pasco County with her husband and dog and has two grown daughters.

Jennifer was inspired to write while reading “The Florida State Sunshine Books.” In the early 2000’s, many of these books were stories that told of old Florida. Since she was born and raised in Florida, she tried to think of something that she could write about. The Chasco Fiesta Celebration is very unique to Pasco County. This would become the start of her first published book, titled “Pithlachascotee Pow Wow.” She started writing this book in 2003 when her children were young. Being a mom and teacher, kept her busy for many years, it was finally completed in 2022.

Jennifer enjoys the outdoors, reading and photography. Some favorite activities include; working out, going to the beach, beach clean-ups and gardening. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
