Buddy Thornton

Buddy Thornton—also known as The Positive Social Change Agent Pro—is a passionate voice for ethical clarity, moral accountability, and transformative human development. With over five decades of marital partnership alongside his wife, Sharon, who remains his ever-faithful co-pilot at events and speaking engagements, Buddy is a devoted family man, proud father of four, grandfather of seven, and great-grandfather to eight extraordinary young lives.

A Vietnam-era U.S. Navy veteran and former Hospital Corpsman (1972–1976), Buddy’s commitment to service didn't end in uniform. He transitioned his mission to the frontlines of academia, conflict resolution, and social reform. After earning a B.S. in Allied Health Sciences from UW-Milwaukee in 1984, Buddy continued sharpening his tools with certifications in Mediation, Paralegal Studies, and Life Coaching, culminating in an M.A. in Human Services Counseling & Executive Leadership from Liberty University. He also earned his DBA Doctoral Degree at Grand Canyon University, where he led as President of the Doctoral Learners Cohort.

His leadership footprint spans across nonprofits and advisory boards, notably as COO of the Brokenness to Healing Foundation, where he mentors underserved youth through after-school programs. As a certified trainer with the Center for Teaching Effectiveness and member of the Maricopa County Association of Family Mediators, Buddy is deeply rooted in creating platforms that uplift, educate, and empower.
