Megan Clendenan

Megan Clendenan writes books for kids and youth about history, people, and the environment. She has worked for nonprofit organizations focused on environmental law, women’s empowerment, and urban food security. She is the author of the NCTE Orbis Pictus Winner, Just In Case: Saving Seeds in the Svalbard Global Seed Vault, as well as other award-winning titles, including Fresh Air, Clean Water: Our Right to a Healthy Environment and Cities: How Humans Live Together. She lives near Vancouver, British Columbia, where she enjoys growing vegetables and spending time with her family in the forest near her home.
